Pathetically, this is not love, as many people think, nor even nearly related to them. Of course, they both refer to an emotion of the mind as opposed to reason and could both be associated with lust and passion, but one can, as well, tell the difference almost at a glance, for there’s more attachment and exclusiveness in love, while affection is marked by more solicitude in a casual way.
